Glastonbury Type Folding Chair

This is a pressure treated lumber prototype of a folding version of a Glastonbury chair. The example in the photo has steel tubes in place of the wooden dowels of the original. I am now working on an oak version with oak dowels. I am considering manufacturing these in oak, maple, and pine. They fold nicely.

My first official event as a Westie... March Drown (Crown). I was soaked and freezing. We piled four adults onto a tiny air mattress to sleep since the tents collapsed into sink holes... All of my clothes were destroyed by smelly mud... And I have never been surrounded by more warm and wonderful people... This felt like a true homecoming...

This is one of the more recent photos... Just before I became a Bi-Kingdom Lady of the West (and Caid) last year... Naturally dyed fabric took me weeks to get that mottled shade... Even more weeks to get the purple off of my hands. It went right through the gloves...

Never again will I make a dress that requires 22 yards of 60" wide fabric... It WAS fun to have it billow out behind me when I ran, but I kept getting stepped on and falling backwards... The picture is only a few years old, the dress was made much further back. It was so memorable that I only wore it a handful of times over the years...
