  They're not ignoring you partner. Give 'em a few days to get back and unwind from Pennsic, and you'll get all kinds of replies.

  There are quite a few groups in the Lansing area. There is a group that likes dancing that meets in Dimondale. There's Burning Hand - but I don't know how they are set up. There's a group that meets in Brighton that's more family oriented.
  
  I'd suggest the Midrealm Web site that might give you a better idea of groups in the area.

  You're in luck. Lansing happens to be the home of the Clan of the Burning Hand.
