I think I am officially done playing! I see no more SCA camping in my future, so I think it's time for my once-used pavilion to find a new loving home. It is the Panther Primitives Regent Pavilion 12x12 size with canopy fly and groundcloth included, as well as poles, ropes and stakes. It is flame retardant canvas and trimmed in black- I think the scallops are George Washington style (check all the details out at www.pantherprimitives.com), but I could be mistaken, I'll check and see when I get a response to this. The fly is scalloped and black trimmed to match.
You'd have to be near enough to come pick this up, and with it you can take my slat bed and air mattress, and whatever other SCA camping odds and ends have been collecting in my garage. $1000 for the whole shebang. Message me if you're interested!

Aaah... - they ALWAYS come back, sooner or later. Sooner if it's because of some guy who just isn't "into" the SCA and therefore "his woman" shouldn't be going either...

All conjecture on my part, of course... prolly 'way out in left field. ;o)

LOL Had one of those. Divorced him and returned to having fun with friends who aren't snobs.

Heh. My fiance has been made aware that a willingness to play along with me for at least a few events a year is just part of being in a relationship with me. He's taking it fairly well, even though he isn't really "into" SCA stuff the way I am. He's even looking forward to Pennsic (this year will be his first, my second), partly because I've told him we can make a couple of side trips out from Coopers' while we're there.

          ;-)

No, no, it's not the man. And I do like SCA... it's just that I like so many other things that really require my time and money, and I haven't been to an event in SO LONG that I just don't see it happening!! No sad dramatic story ;)

I know. It makes me very sad that you don't play anymore. Of course your Caidan friends are a bit hyper about periodocity, too. ;)

Glad i still get to see you in the belly dance world...and hey, someday like when I'm not queen anymore, I'll return to rehearsal for Alamkara. :D

Ve vill ZEE you back zum day my beauty...
      - zey ALL come back, zooner or la-ter. Muah-ha-ha!

Seriously tho, - we had a WulfDen Clan member show up back at War after about 7 years absence this past year. A few of our locals have dropped off the face of things for longer than that and then finally dusted off the garb and buffed the rust off the armor and are back at it again.

SCA. Crack for those fed-up with the "real" world.... Ennyone have a match? ;o)

        - of course feel free to contact moi for the 10% discount I can getcha off retail on anything in Panther's tent catalog. (see de listings for more details)

        Cheers! Happy campin'!
